Water storage and drainage boards refer to a type of board within the drainage board family. They are block-shaped, waterproof, and water-retentive, and are mostly used for rooftop greening and indoor planting.
Water storage and drainage boards are lightweight panels made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polypropylene (PP) that are heat-pressed and molded. They create drainage channels with a three-dimensional structural support while also storing water.
These boards themselves have both water storage and drainage functions. The boards have high spatial rigidity, better compressive resistance compared to similar products (which can be verified through on-site testing), can withstand high compressive loads of over 400 KPa, and can also endure mechanical compaction loads during the backfilling of planting substrate on rooftop installations.
